Academic Organization, clustered under Veterinary and Natural Resources, established in 1990.

The UPLB Society of Pre-Med Students, established on August 15, 1990, is an academic-civic organization comprised of students from the University of the Philippine Los Baños (UPLB) who belong to different degree programs. It is the only UPLB-affiliated organization that is a member of the Alliance of Philippine Pre-Medical Societies. In over 34 years, the UPLB SPS continues to extend meaningful service to the university, community, and country with their motto: "Service Through Knowledge."

Membership

As of Second Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 78 members. Since SPS is a college-based student organization, only non-freshman students from CAS may apply to join the organization.

Like other fraternities in the university, there is a process for membership to SPS. All recognized student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
