UP SOMA Soshiki is a cultural organization that appreciates and celebrates Japanese media and Japanese popular culture in all its forms. The group aims to help build a thriving community for Japanese media fans in Southern Luzon through its various activities and events that are open to Japanese media enthusiasts from inside and outside the campus.

As of Second Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 108 members. Non-freshman students may apply to join the student organization.
Like other fraternities in the university, there is a process for membership to UP SOMA SOSHIKI. All recognized student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
