Academic Organization, clustered under Physical Sciences, established in 2005.
The U.P. GURO: Mathematics and Science Teaching Society is an academic organization under the College of Arts and Sciences in UP Los Baños. U.P. GURO consists of BS MST students, aiming to uplift the quality of mathematics and science education in our nation by strengthening the Filipino youth and appreciating the teaching profession especially in the fields mentioned. The organization envisions serving the nation by molding competitive, proactive, and responsible individuals and through these individuals' conscientious teaching, especially of the sciences and mathematics, will generate productive citizens that will be of great help to the nation building and to humanity at large.

Membership
As of Second Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 58 members. Since U.P. GURO is a college-based student organization, only non-freshman students from CAS may apply to join the organization.
Like other fraternities in the university, there is a process for membership to U.P. GURO. All recognized student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
