THE UPLB GENETICS SOCIETY
Academic Organization, clustered under Biological Sciences, established in 1983.
The UPLB Genetics Society is an academic organization which aims to promote and create awareness about the science of Genetics in the Philippines. It was established by 23 UPLB students way back in 1983. For more than 39 years of existence, GeneSoc has accomplished several prestigious achievements not only in UPLB but in the whole country.

Membership
As of Second Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 50 members. Since GENESOC is a college-based student organization, only non-freshman students from CAS may apply to join the organization.
Like other fraternities in the university, there is a process for membership to GENESOC. All recognized student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
