A university-wide socio-civic organization established in 1982 by the students majoring in Ecology and Systematics from different degree programs and was re-established in 2009. The organization is committed in propagating the cause of Intellectual Environmentalism whilst upholding the values of volunteerism, leadership and nationalism.

As of Second Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 54 members. Non-freshman students may apply to join the student organization.
Like other fraternities in the university, there is a process for membership to UP ECOSYSTEMSS. All recognized student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
