Academic Organization, clustered under Social Sciences, established in 1975.
The UP Agricultural and Applied Economics Circle (UPAAEC), formerly known as UP Agricultural Economics Circle, is the sole recognized academic organization under the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics based at the College of Economics and Management - UP Los Baños. Established on December 10, 1975, UPAAEC primarily aims to promote Agricultural and Applied Economics as a field of study and as a career. It is also an exclusive academic organization open to undergraduate students taking up BS Agricultural and Applied Economics.

Membership
As of Second Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 109 members. Since UPAAEC is a college-based student organization, only non-freshman students from CEM may apply to join the organization.
Like other fraternities in the university, there is a process for membership to UPAAEC. All recognized student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
